Support in Using Child Data

Progress Monitoring for Preschool Teachers is a research-backed and free-to-use online learning module, designed for early childhood educators serving preschool children, and especially those with or at-risk for developmental delays. The module provides guidance on efficient and effective strategies for designing data sheets, collecting data, reviewing data, and using those data to inform classroom decisions and activities. Through the integration of engaging and professionally curated videos to convey information in a concise manner, the entire module can be completed in just 2 hours. Guidance documents are also available to support the use of the module by (a) early childhood programs and school districts for professional development purposes and (b) faculty and instructors as part of college/university courses. Through a grant from the Institute of Education Sciences (Grant No. R324B210002), consultative support is freely available to early childhood programs, school districts, and universities looking to integrate the content of the module into their classrooms and learning experiences.
