Family-Centered Practice: Empowerment, Self-Efficacy, and Challenges for Practitioners in Early Childhood Education and Care

This article describes how family-centered practice can be used as a model for engaging in a partnership with families in the care and education of their children. Apart from the key principles of the family-centered practice model, empowerment is highlighted.
