This article examines reactive aggression and briefly describes the neurology underlying a child’s aggression, and through the vignette provided, provides suggestions on how the educator can look beyond the aggressive behavior and restore calm in the young child through contact talks, understanding familial background, and establishing a friendly but firm relationship.
